How many hours can a student officially work in Belgium
For students, earning money matters, but within the legal limits. In Belgium, students may work a maximum of 600 hours per calendar year under the favourable student status.

What if you work more than 600 hours?
Then the favourable social-security rate lapses and you are treated as a regular employee. This affects your:
