What does it cost to hire a Shifter via AnyShift?+
With AnyShift, you only pay the agreed hourly wage and a fixed service cost. No hidden costs. You choose the rate yourself and only pay for the hours actually worked. For businesses with many assignments, there are advantageous subscription formulas.
Under what contract do Shifters work?+
Shifters work via a legal flexi-job, student job, or temporary contract, depending on their profile and the assignment. Everything follows Belgian social and fiscal rules.
How do I edit a shift on AnyShift?+
Editing a shift is simple: go to the shift, click 'Edit' and adjust the details (date, time, requirements). Save your changes and all involved parties will be automatically notified.
How do I re-invite a previous Shifter?+
Were you satisfied with a Shifter? Add them to your favorites. This way you can easily re-invite that person for future shifts via your favorites list in the app or on the website.
How does AnyShift select and recommend Shifters?+
AnyShift recommends Shifters based on their profile, experience, reviews, and availability. You always choose yourself who you invite or accept.
Can I hire a Shifter permanently?+
Want to hire someone permanently? That's possible! Contact us for info about permanent contracts or long-term collaborations via AnyShift.
How do I deactivate my account?+
You can easily deactivate your account via your profile settings. Follow the steps and your data will be safely deleted according to GDPR legislation.
How do I view my reviews?+
You find your reviews and feedback in your profile. This gives you insight into your performance and helps you continue improving.
Can I transfer my shift to someone else?+
Transferring shifts is not possible. Can't work unexpectedly? Cancel in time and notify the company so they can find a replacement.
Does AnyShift offer training or preparation?+
In the app you find tips and guidelines to start your shift well-prepared. For some sectors (like hospitality or logistics) there are additional trainings or e-learnings available.
What do I bring to a shift?+
A smile and a positive attitude! Check the shift info for specific clothing or materials. When in doubt: ask your contact person.
How do I complete my profile?+
Fill out your profile completely and upload the necessary documents (e.g. ID card, student card). This way you have a better chance of getting great assignments!
How do I submit my bank details or edit them?+
Go to your profile settings to safely submit or edit your bank details.
How do I apply for shifts?+
Applying for shifts is simple! View available shifts in the app, select those that fit your schedule and submit your application.
What should I do once my shift application is accepted?+
Contact your manager via the chat function of the app, review the shift details, prepare yourself and make sure you're present at the agreed time and location.
How do I change the website language?+
Change the website language by going to the language preferences in the app or on the website.
Are Shifters entitled to tips?+
Tips are discretionary and depend on the company's satisfaction.

AnyShift places great importance on health and safety. Consult our policy on vaccinations, sick days and reporting incidents in the app for a safe work environment.
Are AnyShift employees insured?+
All AnyShift employees are insured against work accidents and have liability insurance, in accordance with Belgian legislation.

Can I edit multiple shifts simultaneously?+
Yes, you can streamline editing multiple shifts simultaneously for more efficiency. This depends however on the condition that the shifts were initially set up together. If so, then use the batch editing or multi-editing function within the app, select the shifts you want to change simultaneously and apply the desired changes, whether it's adjusting the time or requirements for the shift. Is there a minimum number of hours required per shift?+
Yes, AnyShift maintains a minimum duration of 4 hours per shift. This policy ensures that the shifts offered on the platform provide a substantial and valuable work experience for both companies and employees. When do I receive payments for completed shifts?+
Payments for completed shifts are processed quickly, and you can expect to receive them within 48 hours.
Who is my contact person for shifts?+
AnyShift provides in-app communication with companies that post shifts. Your contact person details are available in the shift details.
Is there a penalty for missing a shift in case of emergency?+
AnyShift understands that emergencies can occur. Contact the company immediately to inform them of the emergency situation. Workers are advised to avoid other last-minute cancellations and notify at least 24 hours in advance. Not complying with this can lead to penalties like a lower rating. If a worker cancels three or more times within the given timeframe, their account may be suspended.
What are the performance guidelines and best practices for before, during and after a shift?+
View our guidelines for optimal performance before, during and after a shift in the app. It contains essential tips for a successful gig experience. Your manager can also upload specific guidelines for their company. Make sure to review these before going to the shift.
How do I prepare for a shift?+
Check the shift data for specific preparation instructions and procedures. AnyShift ensures you have the necessary information to excel in your role.
How quickly can I start working?+
Once your profile is completed and verified, you can directly start applying for shifts.
How do I upload the correct tax documents?+
- Log into your AnyShift account.
- Go to your profile or account settings.
- Look for a section specific to tax documents or financial information.
- Follow the instructions to upload the required tax documents. This may include W-9, W-4, or other tax-related forms.
- AnyShift may have a verification process to ensure the accuracy and legitimacy of the uploaded documents.
